Cataract surgery is performed by phacoemulsification, using an ultrasonic probe we melt the cataract inside your eye and implant and intraocular lens through a 1.8–2 .2 mm incision. The procedure usually is done under topical or local anaesthesia. It is completely painless and stitch less.
Surgery is completely free of any injection and stitches, but very rarely stitches might be placed to seal the eye completely. This is decided only during the surgery. These stitches do not hurt your eye or change the surgical result in any way, and they are removed after a week – these are totally painless.
No. you can go ahead and get cataract surgery done in any season. results and outcomes have no relation to season. We ask you to avoid headwash for upto 7 days after surgery. however you can still use wipes to clean your face and head during those 7 days without hesitation.
